Extreme Wines
1999
Extreme Wines gives space and visibility to small and big Italian winegrowers that, in unknown and arduous areas, often small strips of land torn from mountain, rock and sea, know how to produce unique and precious wines.
From the extreme North till the deepest South it has been an honour and a pleasure to discover wines born from sand, from terracing, in the wind and at prohibitive altitudes.
Unique vines survived to wars and phylloxera thanks to some small-big vine growers that with dedication have fought for permitting to every grape to continue to give us unique wines.
Extreme Wines are for those who wish to add to their proposal authentic and precious wines (the production is sometimes of few thousands of bottles), in contrast with spitting image wines that today dominate every corner of the world.
